Last Summer Catering was founded by Osman, a Surrey local originally from Turkey, whose love for cooking began long before he ever imagined starting a food business in Canada.
Growing up in Turkey, Osman learned early on that food is more than just nourishment — it’s hospitality, connection, and a way to bring people together. Many of his favourite memories were shaped in the kitchen, watching family recipes come together with patience, pride, and care.
After moving to Canada, Osman carried those traditions with him. Friends, neighbours, and family quickly became regular guests at his table, drawn in by the familiar flavours of home-style Turkish cooking and the warmth that came with it.
What started as cooking for loved ones gradually grew into something more. Encouraged by the positive response and a growing demand for halal, home-cooked meals, Osman launched Last Summer Catering — a service built on authenticity, consistency, and care.
Today, Last Summer Catering serves customers across the Lower Mainland with rotating weekly menus, thoughtfully prepared meals, and freezer-friendly options designed to fit busy lives. Every dish reflects Osman’s roots, his respect for tradition, and his commitment to quality.
